AviSense Selected in XR2Learn Open Call #2 and Showcases XRive at SPS Italia 2025 with EIT Manufacturing
AviSense.AI was selected as part of the XRive project in XR2Learn Open Call #2 and presented its XR-based mobility and driver awareness solutions at SPS Italia 2025 in Parma through the EIT Manufacturing ecosystem.
XRive brings together Enebula, AviSense.AI technovlastos P.C. and InterMediaKT – Interactive Media Knowledge Transfer, combining expertise in Extended Reality, Artificial Intelligence, human-machine interaction, user-centred training and inclusive mobility.
The project addresses an important challenge in the transition towards connected, automated and intelligent vehicles: drivers and end users need to better understand, trust and effectively interact with increasingly advanced in-car systems, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Human-Machine Interfaces and automated driving features.
Through XRive, the consortium explores how Extended Reality can support safer and more intuitive driver training. The project focuses on immersive XR tools that help users familiarise themselves with modern vehicle technologies, understand advanced driving assistance functions and experience realistic safety scenarios in a controlled environment.
This approach is closely aligned with AviSense’s broader mission: to transform visual, spatial and sensor data into real-time operational intelligence that improves safety, trust and decision-making in mobility and complex environments.
As part of the XR2Learn and EIT Manufacturing ecosystem, AviSense also had the opportunity to present its solutions at SPS Italia 2025 in Parma, one of the leading European events for smart, digital and sustainable industrial automation. The event brought together industry stakeholders, technology providers, startups, researchers and innovation actors working on the future of manufacturing, AI, robotics, digitalisation and Industry 5.0.
At SPS Italia, AviSense presented its XRive-related work and demonstrated how XR, AI and cooperative perception can be used not only for advanced mobility applications, but also as part of a broader movement towards human-centred, interactive and adaptive learning technologies.
The participation provided valuable exposure to the European manufacturing and industrial innovation ecosystem, enabling AviSense to connect with stakeholders interested in XR training, human-centred automation, digital transformation and applied AI solutions.
