AviSense Selected for EIT Urban Mobility’s Accelerate2MOVE Programme
AviSense was selected as one of the startups participating in Accelerate2MOVE 2025, EIT Urban Mobility’s Future Mobility accelerator supporting high-potential companies developing advanced technologies for sustainable urban mobility.
Accelerate2MOVE supports startups and scale-ups developing advanced technology solutions in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, 5G, vehicle-to-everything communication, Internet of Things and other digital technologies that can contribute to the future of urban mobility. In 2025, AviSense was selected among the 12 startups of the Future Mobility – Accelerate2MOVE cohort, as part of EIT Urban Mobility’s wider Market Readiness Accelerator programmes.
For AviSense, this selection represents an important milestone in the company’s journey from deep-tech research and prototype validation towards market readiness, pilot deployment and international growth.
The programme provided access to tailored business acceleration, expert mentoring, thematic workshops, networking with mobility stakeholders and opportunities to connect with cities, industry partners and investors across Europe. Through the Accelerate2MOVE journey, AviSense had the opportunity to further refine its go-to-market strategy, strengthen its positioning in the European mobility ecosystem and exchange insights with other ambitious startups working on the future of transport and urban operations.
A key part of the programme was the interaction with mentors, partners and fellow innovators working on real urban mobility challenges. These exchanges helped AviSense sharpen how its AI and XR technologies can be positioned not only as advanced perception tools, but as practical decision-support systems for safer, smarter and more resilient mobility environments.
AviSense develops AI-driven perception, geospatial intelligence and Extended Reality solutions that enhance situational awareness in complex environments. Its technology transforms visual, spatial and sensor data into real-time operational intelligence, helping users, operators and intelligent systems detect hidden risks, understand dynamic scenes and act with greater confidence.
The company’s participation in Accelerate2MOVE is strongly aligned with its mission to support safer and more explainable mobility systems through cooperative perception, augmented reality visualisation, real-time localisation and predictive risk analysis. By combining AI, XR and connected mobility technologies, AviSense aims to contribute to urban environments where road users, infrastructure and intelligent systems can better understand and respond to emerging risks.
Being selected by EIT Urban Mobility confirms the relevance of AviSense’s work within the European mobility innovation landscape and strengthens the company’s commitment to developing scalable technologies for smart cities, connected mobility and high-risk operational environments.
We would like to thank EIT Urban Mobility, the Accelerate2MOVE consortium partners, mentors and ecosystem stakeholders for their support, guidance and valuable feedback throughout the programme.
This experience has further reinforced our vision: to build AI and XR technologies that make mobility safer, more cooperative and more human-centred.
