Avisense.AI-Sponsored Team Wins Best Innovation Award at IEEE Worldhaptics 2025!
We are thrilled to share that a team of graduate and undergraduate students from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the University of Patras—proudly sponsored by Avisense.AI—has won the 2025 Best SIC Innovation Challenge Award at the prestigious IEEE Worldhaptics Conference, held in Suwon, South Korea (July 8–11).
Among the groundbreaking innovations presented was a project titled “Optimizing Take-Over Requests in Autonomous Vehicles through Haptic Feedback”, directly aligned with Avisense.AI’s mid-term research and development objectives in human-machine interaction and future mobility.
This achievement reflects our strong commitment to empowering the next generation of engineers and researchers. With three of our current full-time team members being graduates of the University of Patras’ ECE department—alongside talent from other leading institutions—we are proud to continue supporting students with high-impact ideas and strong research potential.
