Motivated by a fervent commitment to introduce our pioneering perception and interaction technologies to the market, thereby transforming contemporary vehicles from mere machines into omniscient and reliable partners, AviSense was founded in 2023 by Research Director Aris Lalos and Professor Konstantinos Moustakas.
The core objective of AviSense is to revolutionize the automotive industry through cutting-edge AI solutions.
Before establishing AviSense, Aris Lalos and Konstantinos Moustakas actively participated as Principal Investigators, Technical Coordinators, and Coordinators in numerous European Horizon Projects, such as GamECAR-Coordination, Trustonomy, CARamel, CPSoSaware-Coordination, Trustee, and Didymos-XR.
Their involvement spanned various domains, including computer vision, AI, security, and AR/VR applications, with a specific focus on applications in autonomous driving.
This extensive prior experience laid the groundwork for AviSense’s innovative solutions tailored for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs).
AviSense’s products and services present forward-thinking solutions that harness satellite data, encompassing maps and location information, to elevate the safety and efficiency of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs).
