XRive: Enhancing Driver Safety with Extended Reality

The XRive project focuses on using Extended Reality (XR) to significantly improve driver safety, awareness, and trust in Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs).
By developing an immersive and interactive XR platform, XRive aims to train drivers to better understand and interact with advanced in-vehicle technologies and HMIs.
The project incorporates a human-in-the-loop approach, gathering user feedback to help automotive manufacturers design more intuitive and effective systems.
Ultimately, XRive seeks to reduce accidents, accelerate the adoption of CAVs, and benefit diverse stakeholders including drivers, manufacturers, insurance companies, and safety authorities, contributing to a safer and more efficient future of mobility.
